What a weekend! Our president Gini Rendl has been May 29 to June 1, 2025 at the 2nd International Raiffeisen Swim Meeting & the International Austrian Masters Championships and with great success!
She competed in the women’s masters age group for her club The Mermaids Vienna – and returned to Vienna with three first places:
🥇 1500 m freestyle
🥇 800 m freestyle
🥇 400 m freestyle
All of this in really challenging conditions, as the water was – let’s say – fresh. 🥶 But Gini didn’t let that slow her down. With impressive stamina, strong technique and her usual mix of calm, focus and good humor, she impressively showed how much energy there is in swimming.
We at the Tredu Club are delighted for her and are proud to have such a committed, sporty president on board. 💙
